On July 16, 2026, the Blackpool Jacquard Navy photo was arriving as a 3KB thumbnail. A same-day fix re-fetched it full size, at 25 times the detail. The registry made the difference visible.
Every product photo's state at a glance: hosted, pending, or failed, with a retry one click away.
This guide explains the Images screen in the Curated Sync control panel. For the full journey a photo takes from IntelliEvent to your websites, see the companion guide, How your product photos get to your websites. Three minutes to read.
CURRENT AS OF JULY 16, 2026Photos power rental decisions. This screen tells you which ones are ready.
The Images screen is a registry. For every product photo the library knows about, it shows one of three states. Hosted means downloaded full size and serving to your websites. Pending means queued for download. Failed means the download hit a snag.
One glance answers: "are our photos actually reaching the websites?"
Three states, live counts, no guessing about photo health.
Failed downloads are bounded and recoverable, never a dead end.
A failed download retries on its own a few times. If it keeps failing, it stops burning attempts and waits. The Retry button re-queues those failures; when the system is idle, it fetches them immediately.
Photos are pulled from IntelliEvent at full size and then hosted by Curated Sync itself. Your websites all point at the library's copy, so one good photo serves every site.

Failures are visible, bounded, and one click from recovery. Full-size is the standard.
Photos appear here as your team loads them into IntelliEvent.
Early on, this registry sat nearly empty. That was the truth: photos had not been loaded into IntelliEvent yet. As your team uploads them, the nightly sync picks them up and the registry fills.
The screen never pretends. An empty category here is a to-do in IntelliEvent, not a system fault.
The registry is a mirror. Load photos in IntelliEvent, and they appear here on the next sync.
The highest resolution you have. The system pulls full size and serves it everywhere. A low-resolution upload stays low-resolution on every website.
That guide tells the journey: one photo traveling from IntelliEvent to every website. This screen is the control panel view of that journey's health. Read it here: How your product photos get to your websites.
It stops retrying after a bounded number of attempts and stays visible as failed. Press Retry to re-queue it. If it still fails, the photo itself in IntelliEvent is worth a look.
Upload the best photo once. The registry tracks it, hosts it, and tells you honestly if anything gets stuck.
